Safety approach
Safety, Medical Disclaimer and Governance
How the Health Hub keeps education factual, non-clinical and privacy-conscious.
Educational support only
Lady Talk Matters Health Hub provides education, preparation tools and support resources. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, replace medical advice, or provide emergency support.
Users should seek appropriate medical help if:
- pain is sudden, severe or unusual
- bleeding is very heavy or causes dizziness or faintness
- there is fever, fainting, collapse or severe distress
- symptoms occur during pregnancy
- symptoms feel frightening or unsafe
Content review model
Low-risk content can be editorially reviewed. Medium-risk content, such as heavy bleeding or pain guidance, should be checked against trusted sources. High-risk content, such as treatment, surgery, fertility, safeguarding or crisis topics, should receive expert review before publication.
AI and community boundary
Future AI features should explain approved content, help users prepare questions and signpost to appropriate support. They should not diagnose, recommend treatment, or replace healthcare professionals. Community features should be moderated and introduced gradually.
Young users and safeguarding
Content for young people should be age-appropriate, clear and supportive. Any feature collecting questions or personal reflections should include safeguarding, escalation and moderation processes before launch.
